Work with us
The standard we hold for our guests is the same standard we hold for our team. Seen, heard, valued and at ease applies in both directions.
High Note Hospitality Group is an independent group, founded and run by hands-on operators. Our first venue, Chip Bee Bistro, has been trading at Chip Bee Gardens since July 2025. Our second, opens in the Botanic Gardens late in 2026. We are small, deliberately so, and we are building.
Working here means joining a team that takes the craft seriously and the work personally. You will have clear standards, real support, and the trust to make the calls that matter in the moment. You will also have a direct line to the people building the group, because we are the people building the group.
If that sounds like the kind of place you want to work, we'd like to hear from you.
How to apply
Email careers@highnotehg.com with your CV and a short note on why you'd like to work with us. Tell us about a service you're proud of, or a guest moment that stayed with you. We read every application and reply within ten working days.

This is a hands-on role. You are on the floor every shift. You read the room, anticipate the table, make the calls, and pick up the slack. You are also a coach. The team you lead will be only as strong as the standards you hold and the example you set.
What you'll own
Floor leadership during service, including pre-service briefings, mid-service adjustments, and post-service debriefs
Guest experience from arrival to farewell, including reservations management via SevenRooms and guest profiling
Service flow, pace, and recovery when things go wrong
Day-to-day coaching and feedback for the FOH team
Opening and closing checklists, cleanliness, and floor readiness
Wine, beverage, and menu knowledge across the team
Escalation point for guest issues, with authority to make recovery calls in the moment
Daily handover with the kitchen and the Restaurant Manager
Oversee venue equipment, maintenance & cleanliness, taking necessary corrective actions
What we're looking for
Essential
Three or more years of FOH experience, with at least one year in a supervisory or senior server role
Genuine warmth, presence, and the instinct to put guests at ease
Ability to lead a team during the pressure of service without losing composure or standards
Strong working English and the confidence to host any table, from a regular to a first-time guest

A salary aligned to the Singapore market for senior FOH roles, reviewed annually
Paid leave, public holidays, medical coverage, and parental leave
Staff meals on every shift, and a clear policy on dining at the bistro on your days off
Real career progression. Our group is growing and we are building the leadership group from the inside first
Access to training, courses, and industry exposure, including tasting trips and visits to other venues we admire
Direct working relationship with the founders. No layers between you and the people who own the standards

$4,000 to $5,500 Monthly
Reports to: Senior Guest Experience Manager
Employment type: Full-time, permanent
Location: Botanic Gardens, SingaporeAbout the role
This isn't only schedules and stock counts. You'll sit in a small leadership team stewarding a vision, leading a bar team that's involved in both the making and the serving of our spirits and cocktails, alongside a working on-site distillery.
You'll set the tone for service, build a culture of warm, intentional hospitality, and shape the creative direction of the drinks program. You'll mentor your team and make sure every detail reflects the standard we hold ourselves to. And you'll do it as an operator, not just a host, because the best guest experiences are built on a well-run bar.
What you'll own
Lead consistent, high-quality service, and hold the standard through clear specs, build sheets, and SOPs when you're off the floor
Roster, hire, train, and develop the team, with honest conversations about growth
Own the numbers: pour cost, margins, stock, ordering, par levels, and wastage
Shape and refresh the drinks list with the distillery, balancing signature creations with what guests actually order
Run tastings and training so the whole team can speak to the spirits with confidence
Keep service responsible and compliant: licensing, age verification, hygiene, and safety
What we're looking for
We don't hire for perfection. We hire for heart, leadership, and a love for people. You might be the right fit if:
You believe hospitality is an act of care, not just a job
You're passionate about cocktails, spirits, and the craft behind them
You've led a team in a quality bar or hospitality setting ([3]+ years in a lead role)
You're comfortable with cost control, inventory, and reading a P&L
You take pride in developing people and making learning part of the everyday rhythm
You're organised, and you know great guest experiences rest on well-run operations
You see humility, grace, and kindness as strengths, not weaknesses
What you’ll be part of
A bar built around its own distillery, an unusual thing to be part of in Singapore
A culture that values warmth, intention, and genuine hospitality
A team that supports your growth and empowers you to lead with heart
A chance to help shape a program that aims to set a new standard in the region
A group that believes in unreasonable hospitality and lasting connections
